Chodovar Brewery, Beer Spa and Restaurants

Waiters bring beer lovers pints of locally brewed pilsner at the Chodovar Brewery and spa. In the Czech Republic, renowned world-wide for its healing mineral waters at Carlsbad and other spas, owners of the Chodovar brewery have opened beer baths.

Girls relax, one taking a beer bath, both drinking a pint of Czech beer in a herbal beer spa, the latest Czech ‘therapeutic’ offering the country’s first ‘beer spa’. Owners of the town’s Chodovar brewery, still producing along artisanal lines, launched the beer baths with the target of tempting tourists to their new hotel rather than boosting production.

The bath consists of water and mineral water IL-SANO, but the major ingredient is the traditionally produced dark beer that’s made by the family brewery.
