Iceland is said to be the world's friendliest country.
Iceland has been voted the most welcoming to foreign visitors out of 140 countries that took part in a poll from the World Economic Forum.
The tourism industry is on the rise in Iceland, going from 300 thousand visitors in the year 2000, to 600 thousand visitors in 2012.
A local Icelander noted: "It is great people choose to come to our little country. When I talk to tourists, I like to point things out to them, make sure they enjoy their time and find out where they live, where they're from and why they decided to come here."
New Zealand ranked as the second most welcoming country.
Last on the list of most foreigner friendly countries is Bolivia. The United Kingdom landed at number 55 and the United States ranked in at number 104.
The attitude of the locals regarding foreign tourists was only one part of the report that also analyzed other aspects of traveling and tourism around the world.
